Ameer’s ‘Kannabiraan’ which lead to a lot of speculations after some delay will finally start rolling with the pooja on February 25, which is tomorrow. DMK strongman and the party’s South Chennai Secretary, J Anbhazhagan is joining the growing list of politician producers with this film.

‘Jayam’ Ravi is the hero and even he will be happy with the developments. ‘Jayam’ Ravi will simultaneously work for Prabhu Deva’s ‘Ich’ also and so is not going for any major change in looks for ‘Kannabiraan’. First schedule of shooting will start in Madurai in the first week of March.

Also there is news saying Ameer will make ‘Kannabiraan’ as a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu. Telugu version may have veteran producer D Ramanaidu's grandson and son of producer D Suresh Babu, Rana playing the hero.
